Implant mentor program
Many courses offered present implant dentistry as a complex and time intensive treatment option that should be referred.
Courses often overwhelm the practitioner with numerous treatment options ranging from single replacements to full arch advanced treatment options, and present a myriad of components and instrumentation. By the time the first patient arrives much of the knowledge has been lost or confused. In addition, staff members can be resistant to change and the introduction of new technologies.
After attending one of my courses, you will feel inspired, enthusiastic and supported through the mentoring sessions.
Traditionally, restorative dentists have not participated in implant surgery for many reasons, including:
- Negative experiences with implant restorative cases
- Fear
- Overwhelming number of component parts to choose from
- Difficulty in case planning

Comprising of small, personal group meetings, this mentor group provides hands on case studies and training that will provide you with the skills to feel confident in your very own practice.

- Planning software (including NobelGuide)
- Surgical Techniques
- Prosthetic Techniques
- Hands on surgical and restorative training
- Crown, bridge and Implant dentistry
- New techniques and concepts
- Support staff training
- Implant practice management for dentists and staff
- Single tooth, partial and full edentulous case education
- Study group to support program
- "On-call" support
- Nobel Biocare assistance with training materials and equipment
Included in the Mentor Group program is:
- Support materials and training kits (including jaws)
- 6 x 4-5 hour meetings a year, including dinner
- Special surgical/restorative packages from Nobel Biocare
- Ongoing support study group.
