Harriot is a 30 year lady who came to us in desperate need of replacing her ugly veneers, which a previous dentist had completed for her. As you can see from the images she had a very gummy smile and the previous veneers were very badly fitted. Harriot wanted her teeth to look longer, and on examination it would seem that her face needed longer teeth, to keep everything nicely in proportion. We carried out a procedure called crown lengthening, which gave Harriot her “longer teeth” then we completed all-ceramic crowns on her upper six front teeth. Harriot was left with a far more attractive smile, which also showed more teeth rather than gums – as she had always wanted.
